Random pictures

Andrew has gotten pretty mobile. He's not crawling yet, but he scoots backwards. We put him in the middle of the livingroom floor and he backed himself under the table and then got upset about it. Very funny.


Rusty's making Andrew into a soccer star already. He tosses this ball at his feet over and over and over again. This is a picture that I LOVE!! Rusty took this picture while he was playing with our boy while I was at work.


Tracy was wearing a shirt from high school at our 80's party! He also had a mullet wig that I wish I had a picture of. I thought it was cute that Andrew and Tracy were just staring at each other.



this was our haloween getup. Rusty and I were at an 80's class reunion murder mystery party. Our characters were rock and roll stars! My character was treated terribly by all her classmates and came to the reunion to rub her success in their face. It was very very fun. Andrew was obviously an 80's pumpkin.

Nickname

So I keep chuckling to myself about something and I thought I'd share. I don't know if you guys all know but I've gone back to working a couple shifts at Chili's every week. It's been really hard to leave Andrew, but good in the long run because it keeps Rusty from having to work more than he already is. So my story is from Chili's and that's why I had to set the background.
I work with a guy named Sisay (See-say), he is from Gambia. He is black as night and HILARIOUS! He's a cook so we talk everytime I run back into the kitchen for anything He calls andrew our 4/20 baby because Rusty put up a sheet at work for everyone to guess what day Andrew was going to be born and Sisay guessed april 20th (which may give you an indication of Sisay's habits). Anyway he always asks about Andrew and has started calling me "Andrew's Mama" instead of by name. If you know African accents you can picture all of this a little better. I LOVE the way it sounds when he calls me Andrew's mama. It makes me smile, and I'm honored to have gone from "Angela's sister" to "Andrew's mama" not that being Angela's sister wasn't wonderful!

Jumping Pumpkins

Here's our jumping pumpkin. He is SO FUNNY in this thing. He's gotten a lot better about jumping on both feet. He used to just jump on one, so he'd go in circles. It is up in our laundry room door. we sit at the kitchen table for breakfast and he'll jump in the doorway. Whenever he would jump on one foot he'd laugh HYSTERICALLY when he'd come back around to facing us. Then he'd continue in his circle around towards the laundry room. Then he'd turn towards us and laugh and wiggle like he'd forgotten we were there. it was muy hilariouso.
