Judah is here!

Judah Warren Tounget has arrived! He was born early yesterday (Sunday) morning and weighed in at 7 lbs. 5 oz. Both he and mom are doing great and ready to come back home in the morning. Since this is just a friend updating the blog, I will let Jessica tell most of the birth story details when she gets back from the hospital, but all in all the birth went very well (not too terribly long and no major complications), so everyone is very thankful. Here are some pics taken at the hospital today. Poor Andrew can't go meet Judah in the hospital because of the H1N1 restrictions, so brother pics will have to wait until they get home. Enjoy!

winter wonderland

So winter is upon us again, and my husband still doesn't believe it heat. We got up this morning and our house was 56 degrees. YIKES. Andrew got up and bundled for breakfast, while we finally turned on some heaters to bring it up to a summery 65*. How cute is my little bundled boy?

Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!! I know that my blog updates are nothing but random, but I figure I better just throw these pictures up when I take them, otherwise they may never make it. I am willing this baby out of me. I am still two centimeters dilated and 50% effaced so there's no progress. However, I was two centimeters and 50% at my appointment 36 hours before Andrew was born... so it means nothing. I woke up with a TON of contractions all last night, but had none to speak of today. I'll keep you updated as things happen.

Andrew LOVES his books. We read every day whether Rusty and I want to or not.

Yes, He's petting half of a dog. No idea where the other half is.

Do I look grumpy? I feel grumpy.

November Photos

Here are a bunch of pictures from the last few weeks. The first one is a picture of Andrew in Davison in the rocker. We can usually find them in the boy's room jammed in this chair together. It seems to be the one thing they don't mind sharing. The belly pictures are from last week. So I was 34 weeks. The rest are pictures from our work day at our friend's house. We spent the day with our friends the McKenzies, Himes, and Taylors. Beth made us wonderful cinnamon rolls for breakfast, we put the boys to work laying sod, and then we cooked hot dogs over the fire for lunch. The weather, as you can probably tell from the pictures, couldn't have been more perfect. We had a great time.

First Hospital Trip

I spent a short amount of time in the hospital this weekend. Everything is fine, but I got dehydrated from tossing all my cookies (and water, and food, and air, and anything else that came near my stomach). Embarrassingly enough I got dizzy on my way to throw up and fell and hit my belly on the toilet. The doctor had me come in to be on the fetal monitor for FIVE hours. Yuck. While I was there they pumped me full of fluids and checked my cervix. (Assault) Turns out I am already 50% effaced and 2 cm. dilated... so who knows what that means for delivery date? I have an appointment this Thursday as well, so I will keep you updated on the progress of my cervix. Just in case all this talk about lady parts isn't awkward enough, here's a picture of what the heck all that means. Men, enjoy.
