Here's my cutie!! He's been wearing his costume all week long. It's warm so he get's to wear it inside when it's so COLD.

Peas!

I am sorry that all our pictures lately are taken in the high chair. It's just that stage of life for us right now. To be completely honest with you I used to HATE pictures of babies with food on them. I thought it was gross. Now I understand that some of the funniest moments happen durring the messiest times. The picture above is Andrew wearing a bib from his Aunt Angela. It was actually supposed to be Gavin's bib, and I am the aunt he loves! Angela was kind enough to give it to me after Gavin died. Now Andrew wears it because he LOVES his Aunt Angela. I think we need a cute nickname for Angela though because Aunt Angela is a mouthfull. I am Kika to my nephew because Jessica is too hard to say. Any suggestions for Ang?

Andrew is just so dang cute. I can't stop taking pictures of him, but I still can't capture his cuteness. You just have to see him to believe it. So visitors are welcome!!


This is a video of his second go at the bananas. He's eaten some several times since this and he just LOVES it. It's so funny to hear him smacking and licking. He's losing less and less each time.





This is A in his baby straight jacket. He takes his naps and goes to bed swaddled. The hat is because Rusty doesn't believe in heat yet.

Bananas

I don't have any pictures for you today, and I apologize. However, I thought you'd like to know that we introduced Andrew to Bananas today!! He LOVED them. It was hilarious, he would whine until we gave him another bite. Rusty is funny when he feeds him too, he doesn't let it drip down his chin at all. He plays some serious defense. Who knew a 6 month old could stay so clean while eating. I'm sorry I didn't get any pictures or video, I'll try to get some this week.

Sunny Carolina

When Rusty got out of class today, we had the PERFECT weather to sit outside and play for a while. Rusty thought he was going to get to study, but with a wife and kid this cute... he didn't stand a chance!! Here are a bunch of pictures documenting our good time. FOOD!

So we finally gave Andrew his first bits of solid foods!! We soft boiled an egg, and gave him the egg yolk. He seemed to be confused by the whole situation. At first he was opening up his mouth and leaning towards the spoon, and then he just really couldn't have cared less one way or the other. I'm pretty sure most of it ended up on his face, and on his bib. But it was an exciting afternoon none the less. The funniest part of it was that he STINKS now!! Everyone said that once you start solid foods his gas smells, and his poop smells, and they were right. He's a tooty little boy anyway, but now it's not just embarrassing because of the sound, but because of the STENCH. So now I have two funky smelling males in my home. Good times!! This is just a picture and a video of him being cute. He's got rolling over down solidly, so now it's time to crawl or scoot. Whenever he gets on his belly he gets all wound up and starts flailing. I caught a bit of it on the video, but he always calms down once I get the camera out.

Rusty let me sleep in one morning this last week to recover from a headache, and when I woke up and came into the kitchen this is what I saw!!

This is his serious face. He does this ALL the time. He sucks that bottom lip in and goes to town on it while he hunts for his toes, or plays with Mortimer the Moose. I love this face, it's so funny.

Highchair

Here's our sweetie in his new highchair. We haven't actually started the solid food yet, but it is so nice to be able to have him at the table with us while we have dinner. He just likes to be close. I think we'll start the solid food in the next couple weeks, so there will be some messy face video and pictures soon.
